抜群の柔軟性と軽量性を備え、着用を重ねるごとにレザーインソールが履く人の足型に沿って変化し、自然にフィットしていきます。歩行時には盛り上がった土踏まず部分がクッションとスプリングの役割を果たし、足運びをしっかりとサポート。アウトソールにはヴィブラムソールを採用し、軽量性、クッション性、耐久性、グリップ力を高い次元で兼ね備えています。

スムースレザーには、alden など名門シューメーカーへ革を供給してきた実績を持つ、アメリカ・シカゴの老舗タンナー Horween 社製のレザーを採用。90年以上変わらぬ製法で、オリジナルにブレンドされた油脂を時間をかけて浸透させることで、堅牢さと独特のもっちりとした柔らかさを併せ持つ質感に仕上げられています。使い込むほどに色味は深まり、自然な艶が現れる、経年変化をしっかりと楽しめる育て甲斐のあるレザーです。

スエードレザーには、日本のタンナーで丁寧に仕上げられた、きめ細かく上質なスエードを使用。上品な佇まいと滑らかな足当たりに加え、扱いやすさも魅力です。スエード特有の柔らかな表情が、YOKO SAKAMOTOらしい空気感とよく調和し、こちらもまた使い込むほどに味わい深い経年変化を楽しめます。

Leather sandals crafted from carefully selected materials at one of Japan’s leading factories specializing exclusively in leather footwear.

They offer exceptional flexibility and lightness, with leather insoles that gradually mold to the wearer’s foot shape over time, creating a natural and comfortable fit. During walking, the raised arch area functions as both cushioning and a spring, supporting smooth and stable movement. A Vibram outsole is used, delivering excellent lightness, cushioning, durability, and grip.

The smooth leather is sourced from Horween, a historic tannery based in Chicago, USA, known for supplying leather to renowned shoemakers such as Alden. Produced using a method unchanged for over 90 years, the leather is slowly infused with Horween’s original blend of oils and fats, resulting in a material that combines durability with a uniquely rich and supple softness. With continued wear, the color deepens and a natural luster emerges, offering a rewarding aging process.

The suede version uses finely textured, high-quality suede leather carefully finished by a Japanese tannery. It offers an elegant appearance along with a smooth feel against the foot and ease of care. The soft expression unique to suede pairs naturally with YOKO SAKAMOTO’s understated atmosphere, while also developing character over time.
