アッパーには、世界屈指のタンナーとして知られるフランス・アノネイ社のラスティカーフを使用。
自然なシボ感ともっちりとした極上の手触りを備えた上質なレザーは、ドレッシーな様相の中にも程よくカジュアルな印象を覗かせ、モードからヴィンテージスタイルまで幅広い装いに馴染みます。

アッパーは踵と内側のゴア下以外の接ぎを極力排し、広い面積を一枚革で構成。
贅沢でありながら、吊り込みにも非常に高い技術を要する仕様によって、流れるようなラインとミニマルで美しい佇まいを際立たせています。

本作でデザイナーがこだわった点の一つが、中底の下にもう一枚革を挟み込むハーフミッドソール製法。これにより、アッパーのボリュームに対するソールのバランスをミリ単位で緻密に設計しています。
さらに、あらかじめ革に切り込み加工を施すことで、柔らかな屈曲性を維持しながら、外観の統一感を高めています。

ヒールには一般的な革靴よりも薄い革を幾重にも積み上げ、繊細なレイヤーを形成。コバやソールにはアッパーとの調和を考えた絶妙な艶を与え、黒一色の中にも豊かな陰影と立体感を表現しています。

"Kerry" is an elegant side gore boot defined by its beautifully shaped edge and refined silhouette.
Constructed using the McKay method, it offers a lightweight feel with excellent flexibility, allowing for comfortable movement with each step.
The upper is crafted from Rusticalf leather by Tanneries Annonay, one of the world’s most renowned tanneries in France. Known for its natural grain and exceptionally supple, rich texture, the leather brings a subtle casual nuance to its otherwise dressy appearance, making the boot easy to incorporate into a wide range of styles, from mode to vintage-inspired looks.
The upper is designed with minimal seaming, limited to the heel and beneath the inner elastic gore, allowing a large area to be composed from a single piece of leather. This luxurious construction requires a high level of skill in lasting, resulting in a flowing line and a beautifully minimal presence.
One of the designer’s key focuses in this piece is the half midsole construction, in which an additional layer of leather is placed beneath the insole. This allows the balance between the volume of the upper and the sole to be adjusted with precision. By adding pre-cut sections to the leather in advance, the boot maintains soft flexibility while achieving a unified overall appearance.
The heel is built from multiple layers of thinner leather than typically used in conventional dress shoes, creating a delicate layered profile. The edge and sole are finished with a carefully controlled luster that harmonizes with the texture of the upper, bringing subtle depth and dimension to the all-black design.
