カバーオールをベースに、モーターサイクルコートの要素を組み合わせて製作されたソフト縮絨ユーティリティジャケット。
フロントは二重前立ての特徴的な構造を採用し、風の侵入を防ぐ機能性を持たせながら、ボタンの留め方や前身頃の重ね方によって様々な表情を楽しめるデザイン。開閉によってフロントの見え方が変化し、シンプルな佇まいの中でアクセントとして機能します。
シルエットは身幅をたっぷりと取ったワイドフィット。袖幅も大きく設定し、肩を深く落とすことで、和服を思わせるようなゆったりとした輪郭を作り出しています。ウエストサイドにはコードを備え、絞ることで身頃のボリュームを調整でき、シルエットに変化を加えることも可能です。
素材には、尾州産地で織り上げた紡毛ツイードを使用。製品の状態で縮絨加工を施すことで、ふっくらとした膨らみを持たせながら、長く着古したようなドライな質感に仕上げています。縮みによって縫い目に生まれる自然なパッカリングも相まって、新品でありながら奥行きのある豊かな表情を楽しめます。
裏地を省いた一重仕立てによって、ウールアウターでありながら軽やかな着心地に。秋口や春先にはアウターとして、寒さが深まればオーバーコートのインナーとしても着用でき、長いシーズン活躍する一着です。

A soft-fulled utility jacket developed from a classic coverall and combined with elements drawn from motorcycle coats.
The distinctive double-front construction helps block wind while also allowing the appearance of the jacket to be altered through different button arrangements and ways of overlapping the front panels. Functional in origin, the construction also becomes a defining design element, creating different expressions depending on how the jacket is worn.
The silhouette is cut in a generous wide fit, with substantial width through the sleeves and deeply dropped shoulders creating a relaxed outline with a subtle resemblance to traditional Japanese clothing. Drawcords at the sides of the waist allow the volume of the body to be adjusted, adding further variation to the silhouette.
The fabric is a woolen tweed woven in Bishu, one of Japan’s renowned textile-producing regions. After construction, the entire garment undergoes a fulling process, giving the fabric a softly voluminous character alongside a dry, time-worn texture. Natural puckering created by shrinkage around the seams further enhances its rich and aged appearance.
Constructed without a lining, the jacket remains remarkably light for a wool outer layer. It can be worn as outerwear during the transitional seasons and layered beneath an overcoat as temperatures drop, making it a versatile piece for an extended period of the year.
