1980年代のアメリカで見られたフランネルシャツのムードを着想源としながら、古着には見られない配色と格子柄を追求。色の組み合わせからチェックのピッチまでミリ単位でバランスを調整し、オリジナルの生地として作り上げています。
シルエットはレギュラーフィットをベースに、程よいゆとりと余白を加えて設計。オーセンティックな佇まいを残しながら、わずかに癖を感じさせるバランスを狙い、落ちと収まりの良いパターンで構築されています。仕上げには熟練した職人が手作業でダメージを散らし、ANCELLMらしい表情を加えています。 柔らかな毛羽を持つフランネルの風合いと、日常的に取り入れやすい程よい生地感も魅力。気負わず繰り返し袖を通せる、普段のスタイリングに長く寄り添ってくれるシャツです。

An authentic flannel shirt reworked with a contemporary balance, beginning with the development of an original fabric.
Inspired by the mood of American flannel shirts from the 1980s, the fabric has been developed with color combinations and a check pattern rarely found in vintage garments. Every detail, from the arrangement of colors to the proportions of the check, has been carefully adjusted down to the millimeter to create an original composition.
The silhouette is based on a regular fit with a considered amount of ease and space. While retaining the familiar character of an authentic flannel shirt, subtle adjustments to the pattern give it a distinctive balance with a clean, natural drape. Each piece is then individually distressed by skilled artisans, adding the characteristic expression of ANCELLM.
The softly brushed surface and versatile weight make it an easy piece to reach for throughout the season. Comfortable and effortless to wear, it is a shirt designed to become a familiar part of everyday styling.
