9ゲージのラッセル編み機で時間をかけて編み上げた、非常にこだわり抜かれたオリジナルのビーチクロス生地を使用したジャケット。
表面にはコットンリネン混紡糸とウールリネン混紡糸、裏面にはウールの紡毛糸を使用。異なる素材を組み合わせながら丁寧に編み立てることで、複雑で奥行きのある素材感に仕上げられています。
裏面には起毛加工を施し、ウールの紡毛糸が持つ膨らみを引き出すことで、高い保温性と心地良い肌触りを実現。表面は毛羽をあえて処理せず、コットン、リネン、ウールそれぞれの異なる毛羽が混ざり合うことで、立体感のある豊かな表情を生み出しています。
一般的なビーチクロスは、しっかりとしたハリや硬さがあり、着用時にも生地の硬さを感じるものが多い中、本作ではふんわりとした膨らみと軽さを持たせることで、暖かさを保ちながら柔らかくストレスの少ない着心地を実現。ビーチクロスらしい存在感を持ちながら、身体に馴染みやすく、気負わず羽織れる素材へと仕上げられています。
シルエットは身幅や肩周りにゆとりを持たせ、素材の豊かな表情を活かしながら、YOKO SAKAMOTOらしい洗練されたバランスに設計。奥深い素材感とリラックスしたシルエットが相まって、秋冬らしいスタイリングを存分に楽しめます。

A jacket crafted from an original beach cloth fabric, meticulously knitted over an extended period on a 9-gauge Raschel knitting machine.
The face combines cotton-linen and wool-linen blended yarns, while the reverse is constructed from woolen-spun yarn. Carefully knitting these different materials together creates a fabric with rich texture and depth.
The reverse is brushed to enhance the natural loft of the woolen yarn, providing excellent warmth and a comfortable feel against the body. On the outer surface, the fibers are intentionally left untrimmed, allowing the different textures of cotton, linen, and wool to intermingle and create a richly dimensional appearance.
Traditional beach cloth is often characterized by a firm, rigid structure that can also feel somewhat stiff when worn. This original fabric, however, has been developed with a soft, airy loft and lightweight feel, providing excellent warmth while remaining flexible and comfortable against the body. It retains the substantial presence associated with beach cloth while offering a more relaxed and effortless wearing experience.
The silhouette is cut with generous room through the body and shoulders, allowing the richness of the fabric to stand out while maintaining the refined balance characteristic of YOKO SAKAMOTO.
