尾州産地で織り上げたオリジナルのヘリンボーン素材を使用したハーフコート。
一見するとクラシックなヘリンボーンでありながら、タテ糸には撚り糸、ヨコ糸には表情の異なる2種類のループ糸を使用することで、奥行きとランダムな表情を持たせたオリジナルファブリックです。ヨコ糸の一部にはスパーク糸を織り交ぜ、強く主張することなく、身体の動きや光の加減によってさりげない煌めきが浮かび上がります。
タテ糸にはリネンを使用。ループ糸が生み出す柔らかく温かみのある風合いに、リネンならではの適度なハリとコシが加わることで、柔らかさに寄りすぎない立体的な質感に仕上げられています。異なる糸の個性が複雑に重なり、近くで見るほど素材の豊かな表情を感じられる生地です。
デザインは1970年代のカーコートやヴィンテージのハーフコートをベースに構成。特徴的な襟やベルトなど、クラシックなディテールを取り入れながら、控えめながらも存在感のある佇まいに仕上げています。
襟にはカウベジタブルレザーを使用し、取り外し可能な仕様に。レザーを付けた際の引き締まった表情と、取り外した際のクラシックな佇まい、それぞれ異なる雰囲気を楽しめます。ウエストには共地のベルトを備え、ラフに垂らして羽織るスタイルから、しっかりと絞ってシルエットに変化をつけた着こなしまでアレンジが可能。
ヴィンテージコートの趣をベースに、複雑な糸使いによる素材の奥行きと現代的なアレンジを加えた、様々な着こなしを楽しめるハーフコートです。

A half coat crafted from an original herringbone fabric woven in Bishu, one of Japan’s renowned textile-producing regions.
While appearing at first glance to be a classic herringbone, the original fabric is constructed with twisted yarns in the warp and two different types of loop yarn in the weft, creating a surface with rich depth and subtle irregularity. Spark yarn is also incorporated selectively into the weft, introducing a restrained shimmer that emerges subtly with movement and changing light.
Linen is used in the warp, adding a moderate sense of structure and resilience to the warm, textured character created by the loop yarns. The result is a distinctive three-dimensional fabric that maintains its shape without becoming overly soft, revealing greater complexity when viewed up close.
The design draws inspiration from 1970s car coats and vintage half coats. Details such as the distinctive collar and waist belt reference classic outerwear while giving the coat a subtle yet unmistakable presence.
The collar is crafted from vegetable-tanned cow leather and can be removed, allowing the character of the coat to change depending on the styling. The leather adds a sharper sense of contrast when attached, while removing it creates a more classic appearance. A self-fabric belt at the waist provides further versatility, whether left loose for a relaxed silhouette or cinched to define the shape.
Rooted in the character of vintage outerwear while elevated through intricate yarn combinations and contemporary detailing, this is a versatile half coat with a rich and distinctive material presence.
