大きく太い畝を持つコーデュロイに大胆な加工を施し、力強い表情へと仕上げたオープンカラーシャツ。
素材には、一般的なコーデュロイと比べても圧倒的に太い畝を連ねた、存在感のあるコーデュロイを使用。豊かな膨らみと深い陰影を持つ生地に加工を施すことで、それぞれの畝が不均一に蛇行し、表面には毛羽を吹いたような荒々しい表情を生み出しています。太畝ならではの立体感に加工による複雑な陰影が重なり、見る角度によって様々な表情を見せる素材です。
シルエットはあくまでシャツのパターンをベースとしながら、肉厚でボリュームのある生地にワークウェアを思わせるポケットを配置。オープンカラーシャツとして一枚で着用するだけでなく、フロントを開ければカバーオールのような感覚でアウターとしても羽織ることができます。
素材そのものが持つ迫力を活かしながら、シャツとワークジャケットの中間のような使い方ができる一着。共地で製作された「CORDUROY WIDE SLACKS」と合わせたセットアップでの着用もおすすめです。

An open-collar shirt crafted from exceptionally wide-wale corduroy and heavily processed to create a powerful, distinctive surface.
The fabric features dramatically wider wales than conventional corduroy, producing generous volume and deep shadows across its surface. Through the finishing process, each wale becomes irregularly distorted and uneven, while the raised fibers create a rugged, almost weathered appearance. The pronounced three-dimensional structure of the corduroy combines with the complex effects of the processing to reveal different expressions from every angle.
While the silhouette is constructed from a shirt pattern, the substantial weight and volume of the fabric are complemented by workwear-inspired pockets. It can be worn as a conventional open-collar shirt or left open and thrown on more like a coverall jacket.
Making full use of the fabric’s powerful character, the design sits naturally between a shirt and a work jacket. It can also be worn as a set with the matching “CORDUROY WIDE SLACKS” crafted from the same fabric.
