懐かしさと新鮮さを掛け合わせ、ANCELLMならではの視点で製作された新型のダウンジャケット。
久しぶりにダウンを着たいという気分から、「今着たいダウンジャケットとは何か」を考え、アウトドアウェアのイメージから少し距離を置いてデザイン。ANCELLMとしての新しいダウンジャケットの形を模索しながら作り上げられています。
首元にはボタンダウンシャツを思わせる襟を畳むように配置し、フロントには平たいメタルボタンをアクセントとして並べています。さらにミリタリーウェアを思わせるポケットを組み合わせることで、一般的なダウンジャケットとは異なるディテールを構成。異なるジャンルの要素を取り込みながら、一着の中に自然にまとめ上げています。
表地には生地の段階から加工を施し、さらに製品完成後にも加工を重ねることで、新品らしい均一な表情を崩し、長く着込まれたような風合いを表現。洗練された雰囲気を残しながら、古着で見つけるアウトドアウェアのような馴染みのある佇まいに仕上げられています。
ダウンジャケットとしての防寒性はもちろん、シャツやミリタリーのディテール、加工による豊かな表情によって、スタイリングそのものを楽しめる一着。ヴィンテージへの親しみと現代的な感覚を重ね合わせた、ANCELLMらしいダウンジャケットです。

A newly developed down jacket from ANCELLM, blending a sense of nostalgia with a fresh, contemporary perspective.
Born from a renewed desire to wear down, the design began with the question of what kind of down jacket would feel right today and, more specifically, what form it should take when interpreted through ANCELLM. Rather than following the familiar language of conventional outdoor wear, the jacket explores a different direction.
The neckline features a folded collar reminiscent of a button-down shirt, while flat metal buttons are arranged across the front as subtle accents. Military-inspired pockets introduce another layer of reference, bringing together details from different categories within a single cohesive design.
The outer fabric undergoes processing both before and after construction, disrupting the uniform appearance of a new garment and creating the familiar character of well-worn vintage outdoor wear. The result retains a refined quality while carrying a more relaxed, lived-in atmosphere.
Beyond the warmth expected from a down jacket, the design places equal emphasis on the possibilities of styling. Combining shirt and military references with richly processed fabric, it is a distinctly ANCELLM interpretation of down outerwear, balancing nostalgic familiarity with a contemporary sensibility.
