YOKO SAKAMOTOより、ヘンプ100％の素材感を存分に活かしたシャツジャケットが登場。
素材には、尾州地方の機屋にて製織されたブランドオリジナルファブリックを使用。中細番手のヘンプ糸を経糸・緯糸ともに限界まで高密度に打ち込んだ平織生地です。
仕上げにはニドム加工と呼ばれる特殊加工を施し、生地を大きく収縮させることで、表面に自然な凹凸と立体感を生み出しています。
加工によってしっかりと揉み込まれた生地は、表面に柔らかな毛羽が現れ、起毛したかのようなしっとりとした手触りに。まるで長年使い込まれた古布のような、奥行きある風合いが特徴です。
シルエットは、ざっくりと羽織れるゆとりのある設計。
シャツとしても、軽いカバーオールのようにも着用できる汎用性の高いデザインです。袖口はロールアップしやすく、ラフな着こなしにも対応します。 ヘンプ素材特有の通気性と質感を活かし、涼しげで表情豊かなスタイリングが楽しめる一着です。

A shirt jacket made from richly textured 100% hemp fabric, introduced by YOKO SAKAMOTO.
The material is an original fabric woven in the Bishu region, using mid-count hemp yarns densely packed in both warp and weft to an exceptional level in a plain weave structure.
After weaving, the fabric undergoes a special nidom processing technique, which causes significant shrinkage and creates natural surface irregularities. This process gives the fabric a three-dimensional appearance and a softly raised surface, resulting in a moist, almost brushed hand feel. The texture evokes the depth and character of well-worn vintage cloth.
The silhouette is relaxed and easy to layer, offering a comfortable, throw-on feel.
Designed with versatility in mind, it can be worn as a shirt or styled like a lightweight coverall. The cuffs are also suited for casual roll-ups, allowing for flexible styling.
Taking full advantage of hemp’s breathable qualities, this piece delivers a cool, airy feel and a distinctive material presence, making it ideal for warm-season wear.
