10ゲージの片畔編みで仕立てた、ゆったりとしたシルエットのドライバーズニット。
身頃やアームに十分なゆとりを持たせながら、編み地はあくまでミニマルに、装飾を削ぎ落とすことで上品で洗練された佇まいに仕上げています。ジップの開閉や着こなし次第で、きちんと感のある印象からリラックスしたムードまで、表情を自在に変える汎用性の高い一着です。
素材には、通常の撚糸工程の約3倍の手間をかけて撚り上げた、コットンのハイツイスト糸を使用。
強く撚ることで糸が波状になり、毛羽立ちを抑えつつ、シャリ感と締まりのあるタッチを実現しています。糸が波状であることにより、コットン100％でありながら、ほどよいストレッチ性を備えている点も特徴です。
編み立ては山形県のニットファクトリーにて生産。
ドライでありながら、どこかくったりとした柔らかさを感じさせる、雰囲気のある仕上がりとなっています。

A relaxed-fit driver’s knit crafted in a 10-gauge half-cardigan stitch.
While the body and sleeves offer generous volume, the knit structure remains minimal, and unnecessary details are eliminated to create a refined and elegant appearance. Depending on how the zipper is styled, the garment can shift effortlessly between a clean, structured look and a more relaxed mood.
The fabric uses high-twist cotton yarn produced through a spinning process that takes approximately three times longer than standard methods.
By applying a strong twist, the yarn develops a subtle wave-like form, reducing fuzz while creating a crisp, dry texture with a firm hand feel. Despite being 100% cotton, this structure also provides a moderate level of stretch, adding comfort and ease of movement.
Knitted at a specialist factory in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan.
The finished texture balances a dry touch with a softly relaxed character, resulting in a knit that feels both composed and naturally effortless.
