表情の美しさを追い求めて製織した、オリジナルリネンのテーラードジャケット。
本来であれば製織の段階で切れてしまうほど細く繊細な100番単糸のリネンを用いるため、素材の産地を厳選し、糸作りから取り組みました。

製織の難度を乗り越えられる機屋を探し、織り組織を綿密に設計。糸へ過度な負荷をかけないよう、空気を含ませながらゆっくりと時間をかけて織り上げています。多くの工程と労力を重ね、ようやく実現した極上のリネンです。
高密度に織り上げたリネンは本来、強いハリを持ちますが、糸本来のしなやかさを引き出すために特殊加工で硬さを丁寧に取り除きました。漂うような艶を残しながら、気取らず上品で、力みのない洗練されたムードを纏わせています。
単糸がふくらみ、細かな織り目が小さな凹凸を生み、柔らかなドレープと艶、陰影が静かに流れます。これまでのリネンとは異なる新しい表情を感じていただけるはずです。

そんな生地の動きに呼応するようにテーラリングを構築。ゴージラインと肩線を低めに設定することで、クラシックな要素を引き継ぎながらも、力の抜けた柔らかなシルエットへと落とし込んでいます。
フロントを開けても美しく着られるよう、ダブルブレストの打ち合わせは浅めに設計。ラペルを立てればスタンドカラーとしても着用可能です。
断ち切り部分から繊細に落ちる糸と、覗くライニングが春夏らしい軽快さを添えます。

A tailored jacket crafted from an original linen fabric, developed in pursuit of exceptional surface expression.
To create this fabric, 100-count single yarn linen was selected, so fine and delicate that it would normally break during weaving. The production began with carefully sourcing the raw material and developing the yarn itself.
A mill capable of handling such technical difficulty was sought out, and the weave structure was meticulously planned. The fabric was woven slowly, allowing air to be incorporated while minimizing stress on the yarn. Only through significant time and effort at every stage was this exceptional linen realized.
When woven at high density, linen typically develops a firm stiffness. To emphasize the natural suppleness of the yarn, a special finishing process was applied to soften the fabric while preserving a floating luster. The result is refined without being ostentatious, relaxed yet undeniably sophisticated.
The single yarn subtly expands, creating fine irregularities in the weave. Soft drape, gentle sheen, and flowing shadows emerge, offering a character rarely seen in conventional linen.
The tailoring is constructed in response to the movement of this fabric. By lowering the gorge line and shoulder line, the jacket retains classical elements while achieving a relaxed, fluid silhouette.
The double-breasted front is designed with a shallow overlap, allowing it to be worn open with ease. When the lapels are raised, it can also be styled as a stand-collar jacket.
Threads falling delicately from the raw-cut edges and glimpses of lining enhance the lightness appropriate for spring and summer.
